Whatchu know 'bout that ATX, playa?

Current music: Juanes on Austin City Limits

Al & I went to visit Anton and Natalie in Austin this past weekend. We ended up going to see a couple of very "interesting" musical acts - The Arab League (straight outta Hip-Hopistan - check out their Death Star video for an idea of what they're all about) and Captured! by Robots (an act that's so one-of-a-kind I'll just refer you to the web page). [KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD!]

I'll be adding these pix bit by bit this week so check back for updates. For me, Austin is all about the laid-back vibe, the live music, and the all-natural organic bath products. ;)

Wake up infidel
"The Chairman" of the The Arab League says "Wake up, infidel!" Identities have been protected to prevent the government from declaring as enemy combatants.

Red Eyed Fly
Mike Truth was promoting a show here so we went to hang out while the robots got set up. Red Eye Fly seemed like a nice club.

Pumpkin Coffee
This pumpkin pie flavored coffee was good!

Stella's Tacos & More
All this time Stella's been running a taco shop on the side!
