Busy week

So another work week has ended. I continue to settle in at the new job. Went back to the old lab yesterday evening to get Rob's advice on setting up a calcium flux assay for the capsaicin receptor. Lord, is this getting too technical here? :P Capsaicin is the substance that is in chile peppers and causes much pain and burning. So you better believe I will be extra careful when I have to start handling it.

Also this week, I got a new camera! A tiny little Canon with plenty more features than my old one (especially zoom and video) but still an easy-to-use point and shoot model.
