Couple of bands I saw last weekend

Casa de Chihuahua - jug band from NY complete with washboard (with vintage tin cans attached), a washtub bass, etc. The singer/guitarist played a suitcase-turned-kickdrum and tambourine as well as a harmonica.

Zydepunks - this New Orleans-based folk/punk group was the act we came to see. They rocked the house, and Al & I both bought CD's.
