What's next for Bun B?
Bun B starts over in the Houston Chronicle:
The faded tattoos that pepper Bun B's forearms contrast with his otherwise crisp appearance. His neatly trimmed beard, starched jeans, snow-white shoes, uncreased hat and new T-shirt show no signs of wear.
But the blurred ink and faint lines around his eyes hint that the rapper has been on the job for years. While the shirt is blue and new, it also concedes to time and fate. It reads, ``RIP Pimp C.''
Bun B is at a bittersweet crossroads of old and new. The rapper born Bernard Freeman turns 35 next month. That's long in the tooth for a pop star; more so for a rap artist. Hip-hop devours young talent, often putting artists through two- or three-album cycles before they become has-beens in their 20s.
He's well aware of that.
Also, this just in today - Pimp C's death caused by overdose and sleep condition.
An overdose of cough syrup and a preexisting sleep apnea condition killed Chad Butler, better known as rapper Pimp C, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner. His death has been ruled an accident.
