Here's my Mom (the oldest and first one born in the US) with her two oldest sisters and a neighbor called "Sugar Boy."

I love this one probably taken around the same time. Sugar Boy is there again. :) Note the chicken and scraggly dog.

Here's my maternal grandfather with two of his brothers and two neighbors, father and son. Doesn't the old man look mean?! I remember meeting his son (center back) when we used to go visit my Mom's uncle Philip (back left, I think) at the old homestead.

My grandparents - they immigrated separately as children in 1920 and met in Louisiana.

And again later in Port Arthur. This was taken in the early 50s.
My Dad has been doing some research on his family back in Georgia over the last few years. I am thinking of getting some software to help manage all of this info and save it for posterity. Stay tuned for the other side of my family tree coming soon . . .
