Texas GatorFest
Al & I had a blast at the Texas GatorFest in Anahuac on Sunday! The highlight of the day was the high-energy performance of Wayne Toups & ZydeCajun. As the name of his band suggests, Wayne plays a kick-ass mix of Cajun, zydeco, soul/R&B, and rock music. I'll make a point of seeing him again, probably at the Mardi Gras in Port Arthur next year if not sooner.

School bus ride from the free parking to the Fest.
Gator-on-a-stick.
Bayou Roux had them dancing before a squall blew in from the Gulf . . .
and left us in the mud like the gators themselves. :P
The sun came back out when ZydeCajun hit the stage.
As you can see, nothing can stop us from dancing down here in Texas!
