World cup musings etc

In case you missed it, there were a couple of tremendous games yesterday. First Ghana shocked the Czech Republic 2-0, then Team USA played the way they are capable of playing and tied Italy 1-1. We're still in it, people! This Group E just got a little more exciting. The final two matches will decide who moves on to the next round on Thursday the 22nd. We'll be pulling for Italy to beat the Czechs. If they do that and we beat Ghana, we are into the round of sixteen.
