Pawtucket photowalk

Yesterday we went to Pawtucket . . .

Yep, after three and a half years of living in Boston, I finally visited Rhode Island. Evan and I went down there to check out the old Slater Mill, which was closed, but we were able to walk around the exterior and peek in through the windows at the mannequins staged at the machinery. Same thing for the old carousel at Slater Park. We'll have to go back in the summertime to see everything in action and catch a Pawsox game.

Pawtucket Falls. If you look closely (might have to click through to Flickr to see the large size) you can see a seagull floating towards the spillway. It looked like they were riding it for fun and then taking flight just as they were about to go over the rapids.
