Whew!

Made it through the program project grant meeting unscathed! This is a monthly gathering of researchers from 4 labs working on figuring out the role of complement* in autoimmunity.* This was the first time I had to make a presentation to anyone outside my own lab, and there were some bigwigs in attendance. Everyone was nice, which was better than I had expected. My project is stalled due to technical problems, so I didn't have much to say after covering some background and history, but I did get some helpful suggestions. Ramon also gave a little talk. I think we both did a good job.

*Check the immunology glossary for definitions.
