Doing the right thing . . . and getting fired for it

My sister-in-law's dad was fired from the Houston Police Department after supporting a fellow officer's sexual harassment claim and refusing to sign an agreement not to sue after they retaliated against him.

The woman who was harassed won her lawsuit, and now Sgt. Cox has his own case pending. Here's a Houston Chronicle article about it.

It's good to see someone standing up for what's right and supporting a fellow employee who's been wronged, even if it means putting your own job in jeopardy.
