One of those days

I usually don't write blog posts when I'm feeling down (hence the frequent gaps in updating this thing), but I guess this will be the exception that proves the rule. I don't want this to be too whiny, so I'll limit myself to a short list of things that are contributing to the funk:

• The Nigerian phone system is so messed up that I haven't been in contact with Eddy for over 6 weeks.


• It seems unlikely that Eddy will be returning anytime in the forseeable future.


• I have finally accepted that my financial situation will require me to sell my beloved Jeep Wrangler soon.


• The weather here in Boston, while warmer, still stinks.


• I hate everything.
