If I tell you a rooster can pull a freight train . . . better hook that sumbitch up!

A Massachusetts rooster has been temporarily silenced.

The public hearing on Loveless's poultry will continue June 28. If the hearing ends that night, members have 90 days to make their decision. Four of the five members must approve the special permit.

Loveless's voice wavers when she considers a life without her chickens. "I hang out here with them," she said. "This is such a good thing for me to have company in my yard. It's really good company."
